We were talking about personal safety for his children. This also invited another colleague who wanted similar training for his son. Not because of what featured in the article, but for personal reasons.
After reading this article and having a further we discussions. They concerns they have for there children as they grow older. Rape culture and school abuse with 8000 reported. It worries me that the majority of these sort of incidents, have probably gone unreported. I believe this should be a national scandal. This must be addressed as soon as possible.
All of these incidents were reported on everyone’s invited website. https://www.everyonesinvited.uk. Having read through the testimonies. I have to say that some of these just make me want to cry. Mainly because they are so difficult to read at times. I don’t I can convey a opinion on this. Having not been through an event of this kind and I don’t feel it is my place.
I want to say that to every single person who reads this blog. If you watch any of my social media channels. YOU, yes you have the right to feel safe. Nothing and no one has the right to take that away from you.

There are charities doing some fantastic work to offer support and guidance on what to do next. It can even be a going onto the everyone’s invited website, it is anonymous and free. It could even be the first step in helping you. If you do contact the police. They can help as well. They have specially trained teams to help and deal with your report and they do investigate this crime.
